No oak with a fresh scent of lemongrass and lime zest leading to mouth-watering meyer lemons, citrus and mineral acidity.

Ca’ Lunghetta Pinot Grigio 2011 – Dell Venezia, Italy | $5/22
Refreshing and light bodied with vibrant citrus fruits mingled with apple and pear, and a mineral finish. A cut above the rest.

Stuhlmuller Vineyards Chardonnay 2009 – Sonoma, California | $38
A concentrated nose full of white peach, lemon custard, ginger and oak; full bodied with interesting minerality and layers of fruit.

Vina Nora Albarino 2010 – Rias Baixas, Spain | $31
Spicy and focused, with flavors of lemon zest, green apple and dusty minerals; finishing with a refreshing lemony bite and dryness.

Kiona Riesling 2010 – Washington | $27
Floral, pear & peach, lightly spicy, light body, smooth, clean and slightly sweet.

Leese-Fitch Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 – Sonoma, California | $6/$27
A complex wine with rich berry flavors and hints of cappuccino, chocolate, currants and fig.

Coastal Vines Pinot Noir 2009 – Sonoma, California | $5/$24
Tastes of boysenberry and pomegranate with a soft texture and a clean balanced finish.  No better California pinot at this price.

Shoo Fly Shiraz 2010 – Australia | $7/$30
Spicy black licorice and dense dark mulberries give way to cedar, earth and spice notes, wrapping up with ample structure and grip.

Domaine de la Guicharde 2010 – Cotes du Rhone, France | $7/$30
Organic blend of grenache & syrah, showing black fruit, cocoa, licorice, dark plums, toast & spice.

Pennywise Petit Syrah 2009 – California | $28
Smoky bacon then blueberry, with sweet leather, raspberry, cinnamon latte, blackberry, chocolate and smoked caramel.

Montevento Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2009 – Italy | $25
Black bramble berries, black pepper, rich mid palate, and a soft texture.  Classic and very drinkable.

Priorat GR-174 2010 – Spain | $33
This blend of 35% garnacha, 25% carinena and 40% cabernet sauvignon is a spicy, rich, round and complex red with a smooth texture and plenty of savory red and black fruit.

Hey Mambo Red Zinfandel Blend 2008 -  California | $29
This zin blend is forward ripe and boisterous with layers of rich yet smooth red and black fruits and spice.

Elk Cove Pinot Noir 2009 – Willamette Valley, Oregon | $38
A fresh and vibrant red with juicy black currant and plum, a touch of white pepper and polished ripe tannins.

Hedges C.M.S. Red 2009 – Washington | $31
This blend of merlot, cabernet and syrah is dark ruby in color and has the mouthfeel of a much more expensive wine.  Fragrant and loaded with berries and darker flavors of licorice and coffee, it has plenty of substance and grip.

Leese-Fitch Zinfandel 2008 – Sonoma, California | $27
Brambly spice with dark currants, candied cranberry, wild strawberry and a finish of tamarind and black cherry.

Hedges Red Mountain Cabernet Blend 2008 – Washinton | $38
Dark in color with a big enveloping nose, rich but balanced, complex and quite elegant with black and red fruits mingling with smoke, tobacco and well integrated spice.  This drinks way above its price class.

Sparkling

Segura Viudas Riserva Cava NV – Penedès, Spain | $8, 187ml
Crisp with an interesting floral note, clean and delicate, yet rich in flavor.

Marenco Moscato d’Asti,  – “Strev”, Italy |  $31
Lightly sweet, lightly crisp, lightly sparkling with flavors of lychee and pear with a hint of minerals on the finish.
